In addition to being Chairman of PGC, Dr. Chen is also Group Chairman of Wan Hai Lines Limited and is a renowned investor, business magnate and philanthropist in Asia. He has been involved in a multitude of sectors as chairman or director including venture capital, insurance, energy, power plants, international trade, and property development. Dr. Chen has a Ph.D in Industrial Economics from MIT. He also founded the Shenzhen Educational Science Institute Futian Experimental School.
Ms. Li has a long history of assisting companies in their international aspirations. Clients she has helped expand into China include Formula One, The UK Premier League, Porsche, New Zealand Zespri Kiwifruit, Nissan, Omnicom and Amway.
In 2014, Ms. Li founded the International Financial Summit to introduce high end global investment insights and projects to Chinese high net worths, corporations and institutions. It is authorised by the former EU President, Mirek Topolánek; Aleksandr Subbotin, Chairman of the Vladimir region of the Delovaja Rossija Association (Business Russia) and Jan Kohout, President of the Czech and China Business Association.
She is also the co-founder of the top European golf event International GolfWeek. This is a non-competitive golf event focused on connecting world class golfers with high net worth Chinese investors looking to invest in development projects in the UK, continental European and Russian markets.
Ms. Li studied at the Webster Private University (AT), Vienna, graduating with a Marketing / Marketing Management degree. She is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
Mr. Wu is President of the Shanghai Jing An Branch of Bank of China and has been involved in some of the first major Foreign Direct Investment projects since “Reform and Opening–up”, including Hilton Hotels, Bell Systems, Philips and MacDonnell Douglas. When legislation on rental approval was passed in 1992, he managed the first portfolio of housing development loans and mortgage services.
Francis has a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and has a track record for creating returns on investment under highly challenging situations.
Having worked with some of the biggest national and global construction companies, his drive is to challenge the team as a whole to achieve better design, programme and financial returns than those considered ‘the norm’ in the industry, and prevent financial waste.
Francis’ family ran a number of construction and consultancy companies and Francis was working on projects from a very young age, running his own projects from the age of 13. He has collected 30 years’ experience in the industry, 20 years of which are post graduation.
Having experienced the industry from grass roots to delivering and directing businesses in more recent years, Francis has a unique perspective that enables him to translate technical and financial issues simply, to build confidence with clients and investors alike.
Francis’ personal project portfolio includes a listed Victorian Crown Court refurbishment and extension, hospital specialist faculty delivery, PFI school bundles, high-rise residential schemes, HSE’s headquarters in Liverpool, and various city development schemes and private developments.
He has extensive positive experience in construction litigation and adjudication and strives to avoid unnecessary disputes wherever possible, due to their negative business effect.
Francis has also led and developed structured procurement approaches to buck industry trends and exceed delivery expectations of clients and contractors alike. A by-product of this approach includes the protection of project and development margins with lean design approaches and creating united design and delivery teams.
Ms Nelson holds a BA Hons.Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Birmingham and was awarded a Scholarship by the Royal Doulton Educational Trust. She also holds a Certificate from the Institute of Public Relations.Ms Nelson has 25 years’ experience in corporate communications.
She has held senior media relations roles with RBS (2011-2015), BlackRock/BGI (2009-2011), Goldman Sachs (2000-2009) and Citigroup/Salomon Brothers (1992-2000). Most recently, she was a Partner at the award-winning financial PR consultancy, CAMARCO, based in the City of London. Prior to her financial PR career, she wrote “Turnaround”, a business book published by WH Allen, which was serialised in The Times.
In 2006, while at Goldman Sachs, she organised a press conference to launch the $1 billion debut bond issue for the International Finance Facility for Immunisation (IFFIm), an international development institution to accelerate the availability of funds to be used for health and immunisation. IFFIm funds support the work of the GAVI Alliance, a leading health partnership that includes UNICEF, the WHO, the World Bank and the Gates Foundation. The event was supported by the Rt. Hon. Gordon Brown, attending as Chancellor of the Exchequer, in addition to Queen Rania of Jordan and the Papal Representative to the UK and generated significant press coverage.
Ben Liu has more than 15 years of professional experiences in investment management, specializing in real estate finance and global funds management but with a particular focus in Australia and the UK. His experiences extend to family trust management and overseas asset allocation.

He was involved with company restructuring, fund investment and assisted KDSC to go public. He has been very successful in leading numerous governmental large-scale real estate development projects, such as Kunming Department Center Store, Kunming New Southwest commercial square, Kunming New Chenggong District, Kunming Wild Duck Lake Villa which is over 20000 mus, Wuxi Huishan Baida project. He acted as the leading fund manager for National Development and Reform Commission and was in charge of over 600 million Yuan in the field of pharmaceutical biology and new materials.
Mr. Lee is a capital markets specialist whose experience spans government debt, public companies and securitisation. He is responsible for investment projects in Greater China, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. He holds a Master of Accountancy from Baruch College, City University of New York.
Mr. Liu holds a BSc in Physics from Imperial College, London. He has over 10 years’ experience in the IT industry both in technical and sales roles. For the last five years he has worked as a business manager for a number of major UK distribution partners to increase market penetration in the UK. Mr. Liu has successfully tendered for multi-year IT projects with some of the biggest public sector and education organisations in the UK.
